Thomas & Holloway provide NHS eye tests and support the NHS optical voucher scheme. The scheme provides free spectacles or contributions towards the cost of your spectacles dependent on your circumstances. See below to find out if you qualify.

• You’re 60 or over
• You’re under 16
• You are a full time student aged 16,17 or 18
• You receive any of the following:
  • Income Support
  • Income based Jobseekers Allowance
  • Income-related Employment and Support Allowance
  • Pension Credit guarantee credit
  • Tax Credit and named on a valid NHS Tax Credit Exemption Certificate
• You are named on a valid HC2 certificate
• You have diabetes or glaucoma
• You are registered blind / partially sighted with your Local Authority
• You are considered to be at risk of glaucoma by an ophthalmologist
• You are 40 or over and the parent / brother / sister / child of a person who has or had glaucoma
• You are a prisoner on leave from prison
• You have been prescribed complex lenses under the NHS optical voucher scheme
